New CD of the Melton Tuba Quartett

The Melton Tuba Quartett (Ulrich Haas, Heiko Triebener, Markus Hötzel and Hartmut Müller) just finished the studiowork for their 3rd CD "Power".

The CD is now available on the market - check with your local dealer. Also still available are the other CDs "Premiere" and "Lazy Elephants"

On Monday, Sept 27th, 99 Ulrich Haas and Heiko Triebener visited Wenzel Meinl GmbH to officially present the brandnew CD to Gerhard A. Meinl.

For those who have not seen the Melton Tuba Quartet at the Washington Army Conference in June 1999:
Heiko proudly pointed out that the photo on the CD cover was indeed taken at that location - it is not a "drag and drop" computer modification.

On that date Heiko Triebener and Uli Haas met Alexander von Puttkamer who (as a former student of Walter Hilgers) is now the Tubaplayer - next to Bob Tucci - at the Bayerische Staatsoper München).

Mr. von Puttkamer visited the Wenzel Meinl on that day to pick up his new flightcase and to order a BBb-Tuba 197 for himself.
