Patrick Harrild visits Wenzel Meinl GmbH

On Wednesday, October 13th, 99 Wenzel Meinl GmbH had another well-known visitor:

Patrick Harrild from the London Symphony Orchestra came to Geretsried to select BBb- and F-Tubas for the Royal Academy of Music where he teaches.

Note: some might have heard Mr. Harrild already - he was playing Tuba on the soundtrack of the latest Star Wars movie "Episode I".

After some comparison, here is what he chose:

BBb-Tuba:
model 25E - this is the same as the famous 4/4size BBb-Tuba bestseller model 25, but with a 5th valve in a long wholestep configuration

F-Tuba:
model 46S - this is the Pröpper model with 6 valves. It is better known as the 5 valve version 45S played outside of Europe
