Matt Good on his Meinl-Weston CC-Tuba 2265/2:

Matt Good with his 45SLZ, 2265/2"So far, the new 2265/2 is far superior than any other tuba I have played in the Dallas Symphony. The sound projects beautifully into our hall and the intonation, especially on the open horn, is perfect. Playing in all dynamic ranges; from a dominating fortissimo to a true pianissimo is so much more comfortable on the 2265/2. I am amazed at the efficiency of this instrument."

Matthew Good joined the Dallas Symphony in 1995. He began his college career at The Juilliard School, but was invited to move to Philadelphia to study at the Curtis Institue after his freshman year. While in school, he performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic. Mr. Good studied with Don Harry, Paul Krzywicki and Warren Deck. Upon graduation, Mr. Good earned the tuba position at the Jacksonville Symphony in Florida where he played for the next eight years. Since 1996, he has been an adjunct instructor of tuba at Southern Methodist University. Mr. Good also plays a Meinl-Weston 45-SLZ F-Tuba in the Dallas Symphony.

The CC-Tuba 2265/2 is available in the U.S. exclusively to Dillon Music.
