The new Meinl-Weston CC-Tuba 6450/2 "Baer" makes friends in Europe

Last December, Tim Buzbee visited Meinl-Weston to look for a new Tuba for his Orchestra work and his next CD project. He immediately fell in love with our latest development, the new CC-Tuba 6450 "Baer" and right away took it with him on his way back.

Tim Buzbee on his new Meinl-Weston CC-Tuba 6450/2 "Baer":

"Dreams do come true. I have searched for a CC tuba with all the playing charateristics of the new 6450 Baer. Great response without sacraficing projection. Huge breath of sound with still alot of core, let alone great intonation and flexiblity ina 6/4 tuba. I have played many tubas and I have never found one that doesn't get in my way one way or another, until now. The 6450 allows me to put as much air as I want and never pushes back. The 6450 lets me do what I want, LOOK OUT STRING PLAYERS!!! Hats off to the guys at Meinl Weston and Alan Baer, let's have some fun.

Enjoying,
Buzz Buzbee
