Jozsef Bazsinka just released his second solo CD "French Connection" with Hungaroton Classic (HCD 31953).
In the l
ast decade, the recognition of the
Tuba as a solo instrument has been linked in Hungary with Jozsef
Bazsinka.Jozsef Bazsinka graduated from the Budapest Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in 1985; between 1983 and 1993 he was a member of the Budapest Opera Orchestra; since 1993 he has worked for the Budapest Festival Orchestra. Since 1994, he appears regularly as a soloist in Hungary, France, Germany, Spain, Australia and in the United States.

In 1996, Bazsinka released his first
solo CD "Waves" (Hungaroton Classic, HCD 31642) and
was awarded with the Ferenc Liszt prize.
