New compensated Euphonium: 551compensated Euphonium 551

With its new Euphonium Model 551, the Wenzel Meinl company, located in Geretsried, Germany, achieved once more a great beak through.

As many other instrument manufacturers, we offer a standard compensated Euphonium - well known as the 451 Melton /Meinl model. In comparison to this existing model, the 551 is presented with a completely re-designed bell an an allround optimisation in intonation - especially on the 6th and 3rd partial.

At the same time, the instrument plays with an until now unexperienced warm and big sound.

All the other specification remain unchanged: bore 590in (4th valve .669in) and a bell diameter of 11.8in.

The 551 is exclusively offered in silver plated and is optically
refined with gold-plated top and bottom valve caps.

As an additional option, a main tuning slide trigger is available.
