New small piston F-Tuba 2182

F-Tuba 2182Even though Prof. Warren Deck has ended his career with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, he is still actively working together with the Wenzel Meinl company in Geretsried, Germany. In this long term cooperation and friedship, they together developed a small piston valve F-Tuba 2182. The instrument appears with unique response, compact and flexible playing and with an uncompromising volume in the deep
registers.

The model 2182 with its 0.708 (5th valve: 0.846in) bore and its 15in bell diameter, is the perfect corresponding soloist instrument to the already existing 45 SLP.

F-Tuba 2182Here are some more technical details:

4 front action piston steel valves
Bore: .708in (5th valve: .846in)
